Deaf Events
The following events are hosted by various members of the Deaf Community. I personally do not host any events. All events are subject to change based on a variety of factors.
First and Fourth Friday- Woodstock Pizza in Santa Cruz blends a fun group of local Deaf families with college students learning ASL. Be ready to meet some great new friends. Many times after delicious pizza the group walks over to Penny's ice cream for some gourmet goodness.

First Friday
Salinas Starbucks is a great place to meet a few friendly local Deaf community members. The location is very small, some months the crowd is small and other times the ASL users are spilling out onto the courtyard.

Second Friday of every month there is a fun group at Mountain Mike's in Marina from all over the Bay Area. This is a family friendly event with students and members of the local Deaf community visiting in ASL.

Third Friday has two options in opposite directions. Both are very popular events with many students and Deaf people meeting, visiting and having a great evening in ASL. They are both very crowded and a lot of fun!

Starbucks Deaf Chat Santa Clara

Every Thursday- Deaf Chat at Oakridge Mall Foodcourt-
I have been to this event multiple times in the past, but not recently. I cannot be sure that is is still happening. Mostly there were many college students the first hour of the event, from 7-8pm. Then they left and it was mostly Deaf people visiting and enjoying time together until the mall closed.
